Inserting Pictures


                    ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’. This quote very simply conveys how important
                    graphics like Clip Arts, pictures or images are in a document.

                    We can add pictures from the computer or Internet directly into Word document. Let’s
                    learn to add pictures.

                    Adding Picture from Computer

                    Follow these steps to add picture from a computer.                                 Step 2

                      1.  Place the cursor in the document where you want to insert
                        the picture.

                      2.  Click on the Pictures button in the ‘Illustrations’ group of the
                        ‘Insert’ tab.

                      3.  You will see the ‘Insert Picture’ dialog box.
                      4.  Select the desired picture and click on the Insert button.

                      5.  The document will display the selected image.

                      6.  Format the image by selecting the desired option from the ‘Picture Styles’ group of
                        the ‘Format’ tab.
