Changing Row Height and Column Width

You can adjust the row height and column width as per your requirement.

Changing Row Height

Sometimes you need to adjust the spacing between rows to give a better look to your worksheet.
In that case, you can change the height of rows.

Follow these steps to change the row height.

1. Select the row whose height needs to be changed either by clicking on any cell of that
row or by clicking on the row header.
2. Click on the drop-down arrow of the ‘Format’ button in the ‘Cells’ group of the ‘Home’
tab and select the Row Height option from the displayed menu.

3. The ‘Row Height’ dialog box will appear. Type in the desired

height of the row (the default height is 15) and click on the
OK button.
