• Put another s ck on it ver cally.

                          • Put bindis on the points where
the s ck placed ver cally joins
                             the other three s cks.

                              This shows that 3 (horizontal
                             s cks) × 1 (ver cal s ck) = 3 or
                             3 × 1 = 3.

                          • Similarly, put one more s ck
ver cally. Now there are two

s cks. Put bindis on the joining
                             points.

                             This shows that 3 × 2 = 6.

                          • In the similar way, place the

other eight s cks ver cally to
                             obtain the table of 3.

                                                                             3 × 1 = 3 3 × 2 = 6 3 × 3 = 9 3 × 4 = 12 3 × 5 = 15 3 × 6 = 18 3 × 7 = 21 3 × 8 = 24 3 × 9 = 27 3 × 10 = 30

You can construct the tables of 2, 4 and 5 in the similar way.
