Let’s learn how to form mul  plica  on tables using the grid pa  ern.

                    Step 1: Skip count in 1s and fi ll the second column.

                    Step 2: Skip count in 2s and fi ll the third column.

                    Step 3: Skip count in 3s and fi ll the fourth column.


                    Step 4: Skip count in 4s and fi ll the fi   h column.

                    Step 5: Skip count in 5s and fi ll the sixth column.

                    We can construct the tables of 1 to 5 horizontally and ver  cally in the given grid

                    in this way. Similarly, we can form table of any number through grid pa  erns.

                    Constructing Multiplication Tables by Adding 1 to 10


                    Let’s learn to write mul  plica  on table of 5 by a simple method of adding

                    1 to 10.

                    Step 1: Write the table of 4.

                    Step 2: Now add 1 to 10 stepwise in the table of 4 to get the table of 5.
