Setting Paper Size
There are diff erent sizes of paper that the user can get in Word 2016, however, the
availability of sizes of paper depends upon the type of printer used.
Follow these steps to set a paper size.
1. Click on the Size button in the ‘Page Setup’ group of the ‘Layout’ tab.
2. You will see the current paper size highlighted in the drop-down list of paper size
options. Select the desired page size option. It will change the page size.
3. You can also click on the Paper Setup dialog box launcher to open the ‘Page Setup’
dialog box.
4. Click on the Paper tab and select the desired paper size from the ‘Paper size’ drop-
down list.
5. The changes will be displayed in the ‘Preview’ section.
6. Click on the OK button after observing the changes.

Indenting Text
An indent is the amount of space given between the text and the page margin. We can
adjust the indent for an individual paragraph, a group of paragraphs, or the margins
for the entire document. Word 2016 allows the user to adjust indentation and spacing.
Within margins, the indentation of one paragraph or a group of paragraphs can also be
increased or decreased.
Follow these steps to use the indentation feature.
1. Select the text to be indented.
