4. You will see the ‘Set up backup’ dialog
box on the screen.
5. Select the drive where the backup of
the fi les needs to be saved. Click on Step 5

‘What do you want to back up?’.

7. Let Windows choose (recommended) option

8. You can also select Let me choose option. This allows you to select the items that
you want the computer to back up on a regular basis.
9. Click on the Next option. You can review the backup settings in the next window.
10. Check all the backup details and select the Change schedule option to schedule the
day and time of the backup.
11. Click on the Save settings and run backup option. It will start the backup process.
Data Compression Utility
Data compression utility compresses or decompresses fi les that are stored on fl oppy
and hard disks. As compressed fi les take up very less space in disks, data compression
utilities are widely used during copying of data from hard disks to fl oppy disks. Win Zip
is a popular data compression program available as a utility with Microsoft Windows
operating systems.
