Moving the Text

Follow these steps to move the

selected text from its original
location to a new one.
Step 2
1. Select the text to be moved.

2. Click on the Cut button on the
‘Clipboard’ group in the ‘Home’
tab. You can also press Control
key with letter key X (Ctrl + X).

Step 3 3. The text will disappear from the
original location.

4. Now position the cursor at the
location in the document where Step 5

you want the text to be moved.

5. Click on the Paste button on the
‘Clipboard’. You can also press
Ctrl + V.

6. The selected text will appear at the
new location.
