Moving the Text

Follow these steps to move the selected text from its original location to a new one.

1. Select the text to be moved.

2. Click on the Cut button on the ‘Clipboard’ group in the ‘Home’ tab. You can also press

Control key with letter key X (Ctrl + X).

3. The text will disappear from the original location.

4. Now position the cursor at the location in the document where you want the text to

be moved.

5. Click on the Paste button on the ‘Clipboard’. You can also press Ctrl + V.

6. The selected text will appear at the new location.
