                         To create patterns with a unit of repeat and their extension
                         What We Need?

                         Blackboard/whiteboard and chalk marker
                         How To Do?
                                Divide the students into groups of 2–3 each.
                                One member from each group will come forward and draw a repeating pattern on the

                               board.
                                One member from the other group will come forward to identify the unit of repeat and

                               extend it.
                                Continue the activity until each member from all the groups get a chance to draw a
                               repeating pattern, identify the unit of repeat and extend it.
