                    Looking after Our Body


                    Our body does a lot of work for us. We must look after it to remain fi t and healthy.
                    For keeping ourselves healthy, we must eat healthy food, practice hygienic habits,

                    take rest and exercise daily.

                    •  Eat clean and healthy food from all food groups. Fruits, vegetables, cereals,
                       pulses, meat, eggs and milk are healthy for us. Eating food in a proper amount

                       daily is important for us. Do not overeat. Eat food in small portions in a day.
                       Make breakfast the heaviest meal of the day as it gives energy for the whole day.

                       Lunch should be lighter than the breakfast and dinner should be the lightest
                       meal. Eat healthy snacks such as fruits, salads, sprouts or nuts in between these

                       three main meals. Chew whatever you eat properly and drink at least 8–10
                       glasses of water daily. This will protect us from falling ill, keep us fi t and slim,

                       and allow us to enjoy a healthy living.

                    •  Maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness helps to prevent spread of diseases.
