Example 9: Kabir distributes 4 toffees to each child in his class on his birthday. There are
35 children in his class. How many toffees does he distribute?

Solution: Number of children in the class = 35 2

Number of toffees each child gets = 4 3 5

Total number of toffees distributed by Kabir = 35 × 4 = 140 × 4
So, Kabir distributes 140 toffees in the class. 1 4 0

(a) Some students of a school are going for a picnic in
6 buses. There are 32 students in each bus. How many
students are going for the picnic?
