• Eat fermented food like idli, dosa and dhokla, and drink fermented drinks like lassi,
yoghurt and juices regularly. They help in digestion and protect our body from
diseases.
• Replace aerated drinks with fresh coconut water, fruit juices and lime water, and
other home-made drinks.
• Eat fruits, salads, nuts or sprouts in between meals instead of having unhealthy
snacks.
• Have small portions of food at regular intervals.
Junk Food
Junk food is any food that contains high amount of Did You Know!

and other health problems.
• It does not provide enough energy to do work.
• It results in poor digestion and makes us feel lazy.
• It makes us feel full reducing our intake of healthy and
nutrient-rich food.
