Solution: (a) Number of goldfish = 6 × 2 = 12

Number of angelfish = (4 × 2) + 1 = 8 + 1 = 9
Number of oscar fish = (3 × 2) + 1 = 6 + 1 = 7

Number of archer fish = 4 × 2 = 8
Number of loaches = (1 × 2) + 1
= 2 + 1 = 3
Total number of fish = 12 + 9 + 7 + 8 + 3 = 39

(b) Goldfish are maximum in number. Know More
Loaches are least in number.
(c) Number of angelfish = 9 Goldfish can recognize
human faces and voices.
Total number of fish = 39
Fish that are not angelfish = 39 – 9 = 30
(d) Number of oscar fish + number of loaches = 7 + 3 = 10
