Solving Word Problems
Example 9: A school football club has 30 children in it. The members of the club want to
form teams with 5 children in each team. How many teams can they form?
Solu on: Total children in football club = 30
Number of children in 1 team = 5
Number of teams that can be formed = 30 ÷ 5 = 6
So, 6 teams consis ng of 5 children each can be formed.
