Division Facts
• When a number is divided by 1, we get the number itself as the quo ent.
For example, 12 ÷ 1 = 12 and 225 ÷ 1 = 225.
• When a number is divided by itself, we get 1 as the quo ent.
For example, 19 ÷ 19 = 1 and 430 ÷ 430 = 1. Mental Maths
• When 0 is divided by any number, we get 0 Choose the correct option.

Multiplication and Division Facts
We know that there are two mul plica on facts for every division fact.
For example, mul plica on facts for 63 7 = 9 are 7 × 9 = 63 and 9 × 7 = 63.
Example 3: For 30 6 = 5 write the mul plica on facts.
Solu on: The mul plica on facts for 30 6 = 5 can be found by saying the table of 6.
We find that, 5 × 6 = 30. So, 30 6 = 5.
Therefore, 5 × 6 = 30 and 6 × 5 = 30 are the mul plica on facts for 30 6 = 5.
