Divisibility Tests
• A number is divisible by 2, if its ones place digit is an even number.
• A number is divisible by 3, if sum of its digits is a multiple of 3.
• A number is divisible by 4, if the number formed by its last two digits is divisible by 4.
• A number is divisible by 5, if its ones place digit is either 0 or 5.
• A number is divisible by 6, if it is divisible by both 2 and 3.
• A number is divisible by 8, if the number formed by its last three digits is divisible by 8.
• A number is divisible by 9, if sum of its digits is a multiple of 9.
• A number is divisible by 10, if its ones place digit is 0.
• A number is divisible by 11, if the difference between the sum of the digits at its
odd places, starting from right, and the sum of the digits at its even places is either
0 or a multiple of 11.
