Solution: In 7,12,657, one 7 is at ones place. So, its place value is 7 × 1 = 7.

The other 7 is at lakhs place. So, its place value is 7 × 1,00,000 = 7,00,000.
The sum of the two place values is 7 + 7,00,000 = 7,00,007.
