When we go to a shop and buy something, the shopkeeper gives us a bill.
A bill is a slip of paper on which a shopkeeper writes the names of things a
buyer purchases, their cost and the total amount to be paid by the buyer. It
usually has five columns. The first column has the serial number, the second
column has the name of the item purchased, the third column has the
quantity purchased, the fourth column has the cost of the item and the fifth
column has the amount to be paid for that item. The total amount to be paid
is written at the bottom of the last column.
Example 12: Rashita goes to Raghav Stationery and buys 2 sticker strips, 3 metre ribbon,
4 pom-poms and 5 packets of buttons. Make a bill for her purchase.
