Making Rate Charts and Bills
Rate charts or rate lists are the lists containing the names and the cost of items available
at a particular shop or store. They make buying and selling easier as the customer does
not have to keep asking for the cost of every item before buying it. A rate chart usually
has four columns. The first column has the serial number, the second column has the
name of the item, the third column has the quantity and the fourth column has the
rate.
Example 11: These are some items with their prices sold at Raghav Stationery. Make a rate
chart for them.
