Slides Navigation Pane: It is present on the left
side of the window. It displays an outline view of

all the slides. The user can add, delete, duplicate
and rearrange slides in this pane.

Slide Pane: It is the middle section of

the PowerPoint window where the
user can work.

Status Bar: This bar displays the active slide number as well as the number of slides in
the open presentation, Notes, Comments, View buttons and Zoom Control Slider.

Notes Pane: It is present right above the Status Bar. The user can add notes to the slides

in this area. It is also called the Speaker’s Notes.

Comments: The reviewer can add the comments in this

area after reviewing the slide.

View Buttons: These buttons are present on the left of the Zoom
Control Slider on the Status Bar. These are used to view slides in
diff erent formats like Normal, Slide Sorter, Reading View and Slide Show.

Zoom Control Slider: The user can zoom in or zoom out the
slide by dragging the Zoom Control Slider. Zoom percentage
will be displayed on the right of the slider.
