7. Click on the Combine taskbar buttons
option. This will enable you to specify
how icons should be displayed on the
Taskbar. You can select any option out of

the following.

 Never: This shows each window’s label next to the icon. There is no piling of icons.

 Always, hide labels: This piles up the icons of the same program. The icons are

displayed without labels.

 When taskbar is full: The piling of icons only takes place when there are too many

programs on the Taskbar and no space is left. This displays the labels of windows
adjacent to their icons.

Icons

Icons are small symbols or pictures on a computer representing files, folders and
programs. Let’s learn about some commonly used icons.

 This PC : It consists of drives and related contents stored in these drives. The
user can double-click on any icon to see various files and folders stored in that drive.
