You can also copy a file or a folder from one location to another using shortcut keys.
Ctrl + C is used to copy a file or folder to the clipboard. The content copied to the
clipboard can be pasted to a new location using the shortcut keys Ctrl + V.
Moving a File or Folder
Moving a file or folder means to transfer it from its original location to a new location.
Follow these steps to move a fi le or folder.
1. Double-click on This PC icon on the desktop.
2. A new window will appear displaying hard disk drives, CD/DVD drives, network
locations and removable devices.
