8.  Solve the following word problems.
                            (a)  There are 198 dresses. If each dress has 356 polka dots on it, how many polka dots
                                are there in all on all the dresses?

                           (b)  A jewellery shop ordered 82 boxes of silver beads. There were 1,200 beads in each
                                box. How many silver beads did the jewellery shop order?
                            (c)  A travel agency sold 18 bus tickets for a trip from Mumbai to Ahmedabad for ` 44,928.
                                How much money did one ticket cost for the trip?

                           (d)  The product of two numbers is 8,040. If one number is 670, find the other number.

                            (e)  A printing press can produce 4,025 magazines in 25 days. How many magazines can
                                it print in 45 days?

                         How To Do?
                                Divide the class into groups of five. The teacher will call out any 2-digit number more
                               than 20.
                                The groups will have to write multiplication tables of the given 2-digit numbers using a

                               simple trick. Let’s learn to write multiplication table of 34.
                               Step 1:  Split 34 into two different numbers, i.e., 3 and 4, and write their tables separately
                                      under place values as shown below.
