Addition of 2-Digit Numbers Mentally
Method 1: Break the numbers to be added into tens and ones. Add the tens and ones
separately. Then, add the numbers to get the final sum.
Example 11: Add 36 and 20.
Solution: 36 + 20 = 30 + 6 + 20 (breaking into tens and ones)
= (30 + 20) + 6 (adding tens and ones separately)
= 50 + 6 = 56
Method 2: Round off the bigger number to the nearest 10. Add the two numbers and then
