Thick paper plate, a chart paper, thumb pin, a pair of scissors and a pencil

• Write the numbers (1–12) on the paper plate. 10 2

• Use the chart paper to make two hands of the clock as shown.

• Put the two hands one on top of the other and pin them in the 12
centre of the plate using the thumb pin. Ensure that the two 10 11 1 2
hands are free to rotate. Your clock is ready. 9 3
• The teacher will call out a time. 8 4
• Show that time on your clock by moving the hands. 7 6 5
• Repeat the same activity for different timings.
Extension: The teacher will show time of a daily activity like breakfast time, dinner time,
