Let’s perform another activity to understand conservation of volume of solid.


              •  Take 2 balls of play dough of the same size in different colours.




              •  Roll one ball into a long and thin shape.

            Observe that the quantity of play dough remains the same even after its shape is changed.

            This explains conservation of volume of solid.
