Exiting Microsoft Excel


                    After fi nishing your work, you can exit the
                    Excel application. To close a window, click
                    on the Close [x] button in the upper-right
                    corner of the window.
                    You can also click on the File tab and select
                    the  Close option.  This will close every
                    workbook window you have opened.






                            Do and Learn


                      Create an MS Excel worksheet on ‘Minerals’. Include details like sources, functions and defi ciency
                      diseases related to them. Save your worksheet.                                      [ICT – Science]
                      Steps to be Followed
                      •  Click on Start and select Excel 2016.
                      •  Click on the File tab.
                      •  Click on the New option.
                      •  Select the Blank workbook from the available templates.
                      •  To enter data in an active cell, click in the cell where you want to enter data and begin typing.
                      •  Enter all the information in the cells.

                      •  To save a new document, click on the File tab and select Save or Save As option. A Save As window will
                         open.
                      •  Type the name of the document as ‘Minerals’ in the File name box.
                      •  Click on the Save button to save the document.

                      While using formulae for calculations, make sure that the formulae and the values entered are in
                      correct order to obtain accurate results.

                      Workbook:  An MS Excel document
