Electronic Groups (E-Groups)
An e-group is a group that comes with various
social networking sites thus allowing the users
to share their interests. They can also post
comments related to their own interests. These
groups are mainly meant for discussions about
common interests among users. The information
shared on the group can be viewed by all the
users who are a part of the group.
Web Television
Web television, also called Internet television is the process of broadcasting the television
content to the users with the help of computer devices over the Internet. The users can view
diff erent television channels on any Internet-enabled device through websites. The Internet
television broadcasting appears similar to the normal television broadcasting in the presence
of good Internet connection and supporting computing device. Diff erent options that can
be availed using Internet television include streaming videos, web-based shows, videos on
demand and regular television shows that are hosted on the websites of various channels.
Web Radio
Web radio, also called e-radio or Internet radio
is an online digital service that is broadcasted
through the Internet. It is a medium that is
used to communicate and transmit messages
to the users on various radio servers much like
the traditional radio. Various services off ered by
Internet radio include sports, news, talk shows
and various genres of music.
