Video Conferencing

                                                                     Video conferencing has completely changed
                                                                     the atmosphere of a modern offi  ce. With video
                                                                     conferencing systems, the participants not
                                                                     only hear the voice but also see each other.
                                                                     The communication takes place either in one-
                                                                     way or multi-way modes. In  one-way mode,
                                                                     which is also known as  point-to-point video
                                                                     conferencing, one of the locations sends the
                                                                     information and others receive it. In multi-way
                    mode, which is also known as multi-point video conferencing, two or more locations can send
                    or receive the information simultaneously.

                    The process of video conferencing involves some basic steps which are as follows.
                      •  During video conferencing, a video camera installed in the sending device continuously
                          captures pictures of the person, which are then converted into compressed digital video
                          signals.

                      •  The compressed digital video signals are sent through a transmission medium to the
                          receiving devices, which are a part of the video conferencing system.
                      •  The process is reversed and the video signals are decompressed at the receiver’s end.
                      •  The decompressed video signals are continuously displayed as pictures on output device
                          (such as monitor).




                    Web Publishing

                    Web publishing (electronic publishing) is a new
                    approach of publishing on the Internet, which
                    is replacing paper books with electronic books.






                                                                     Social Networking

                                                                     Social networking is the most common
                                                                     and popular tool of the Internet. It enables
                                                                     people to stay connected with their friends,
                                                                     relatives, family members, acquaintances,
                                                                     business associates, celebrities or anyone in
                                                                     the world online by exchanging messages and
                                                                     information in any form of media. Facebook and
                                                                     Twitter are the most popular social networking
                                                                     sites commonly used by people.
