Working of a Computer
A computer works on instructions. We enter data in the form of letters, words,
numbers, pictures and instructions into the computer. Diff erent parts of a
computer have diff erent functions to make it work properly.
Let’s understand the process better by relating it to own daily lives. When
your mother cooks food, the raw vegetables, dal, spices and other things
used by her are input. The things are mixed well and cooked for some time
which is called processing. The cooked food that you eat is called the output.
