A computer is a very useful machine. It makes our work easy. It helps us to
do many activities. It works with electricity and is called an electronic device.

We can do various things using a computer such as;

• Drawing pictures

• Typing letters, words or numbers.

• Solving sums Learn More

• Listening to music Robots are the machines that
work like human beings.
• Watching movies and cartoons

Computer and Man

Computer is a smart machine. It is an important part of our lives. It can do
many things than humans can do.

Let’s see how a computer is diff erent from a man.

• A computer works very fast. It can do several
jobs at the same time. A man cannot work as

fast as a computer.

• A computer does not make mistakes. A man

can make mistakes.

• A computer does not get tired. A man
gets tired.

• A computer stores everything in the memory.

It never forgets things stored in it. A man also
stores things in the memory. He may forget

things stored in it.
