Step 5: Subtract 7 from the quotient obtained.
The answer is 3.

Step 1: Pick any number between 1 and 7.

Step 2: Multiply this number by 2.
Step 3: Add 5 to the product.

Step 4: Multiply the sum obtained in step 3 by 50.
Step 5: If your birthday has already gone this year, add 1,752 to the product
obtained in step 4. Otherwise, add 1,750.

Step 6: Now subtract the 4-digit year that you were born in from the sum.
For example, if you were born in the year 2009, subtract it from the
sum in step 5.

You will get a 3-digit number. The first digit is the number you chose
in step 1.
