Nets of 3D shapes

We will now learn how some 3D shapes can be visualized on a 2D surface, i.e., paper. In order to
draw 3D figures, we first need to learn more about them by converting them into nets.
A net of a 3D shape is a sort of skeleton outline in 2D, which on folding
transforms into a given 3D shape. Maths Info
Let’s look at the nets for some 3D shapes. The net of a solid is not unique.

                      1. Identify the nets which can be folded to form a cube. (Try with an enlarged copy of the following
                        nets.)
