                          Vocabulary



                    The story ‘The Fun They Had’ is set in an imaginary future world with highly advanced technology
                    and novel machines or objects. One of the examples of these novel objects is the ‘telebook’, the idea
                    of which was new and exciting when this story was written. Today, a few decades into the future, we
                    have become familiar with e-books and can well imagine a television being able to store a million
                    books or more. Similarly, there are many other new ideas that science fi ction introduced to the world
