You will notice that each pair of lines ends in the same sound. Now, if we assign a letter for
                    a rhyme, the rhyme scheme of this poem will be: aabbcc.

                    Let us look at another example.

                         When I was down beside the sea              a
                         A wooden spade they gave to me              a
                         To dig the sandy shore.                     b

                         My holes were empty like a cup.             c
                         In every hole the sea came up,              c
                         Till it could come no more.                 b

                    The rhyme scheme of this stanza is: aabccb.


                    Now, read these lines and iden  fy the rhyme scheme.


                         I wandered lonely as a cloud

                         That floats on high o’er vales and hills,

                         When all at once I saw a crowd,

                         A host, of golden daffodils;

                         Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

                         Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

                    Do you have a sister or a brother? If you do, make a gree  ngs card expressing your

                    love for her/him. If you don’t, make a card expressing your feelings about having a
                    sibling. Make your gree  ngs card colourful and a  rac  ve with drawings, s  ckers,
                    cut-out pa  erns, etc. You can also write a short poem in the card expressing your
                    feelings.
