James Baldwin (1841–1925) was an American teacher, editor and author. He was
                          largely self-educated and began school teaching at the age of twenty four. Along
                          with editing school textbooks, Baldwin also wrote English readers for school-level
                          reading. He also wrote many volumes based on myths, legends and famous people
                          in history. Baldwin wrote over fi fty books in his career as a writer. Some of his famous
                          works are The Story of Siegfried, Old Greek Stories and Fifty Famous Stories Retold.
