Tarun blinked his eyes. He felt something had happened. He felt different.
Tarun had changed into a schoolbag!

Tarun’s sister Tina saw the new bag on the floor. She was also a naughty
and careless child. She took the bag and threw it on the table.

‘Ouch! It hurts. Please don’t throw me like that,’ said Tarun. But Tina

could not hear him.

Tina took the new bag to school. She placed it near her foot and kicked

it whenever she was bored.

‘Please stop kicking, Tina. It hurts me,’ cried Tarun. But no one was able

to hear him.

Soon it was break time. Tina wiped her oily hands on her bag after she

finished eating.

‘Oh no!’ cried Tarun, ‘there are oily spots on my body!’ Sadly, nobody
heard his words.

Soon, school was over. It started raining. Tina ran around the muddy
playground with the bag on her shoulders. Whenever she jumped into

a puddle , dirty water splashed onto her new bag.
‘Tina, please don’t splash me with
dirty water. I will fall ill,’ begged

Tarun. Tina could still not hear

him.

Tina came home and threw the

bag inside a cupboard.

Tarun did not like the dark

cupboard. It was full of spiders
