16 Tarun’s Schoolbag

Tarun was a naughty and careless child.

When he came home from school, he
would throw his schoolbag on the

floor. Sometimes, he would stamp on

it and pull its straps . Tarun’s schoolbag
looked old and dirty. His parents were
unhappy with his behaviour.

‘Naughty children are always punished,’ they warned him.
One morning, Tarun was playing with his schoolbag. He took a pair of
scissors and cut its straps. Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light.
