                    Renaming a Worksheet

                    Worksheets in Excel have names like Sheet 1, Sheet 2 and so on. But these names can be
                    changed to other names which more descriptive. Follow these steps to rename a worksheet.

                      1.  Right-click on the Sheet 1 tab in the worksheet.

                      2.  Click on the Rename option from the ‘Shortcut’ menu that will appear.
                      3.  The cursor will appear in the ‘Sheet 1’ tab. Rename it and press the Enter key.

                    Deleting a Worksheet

                    You can also delete a worksheet if you do not fi nd it useful. Follow these steps to delete a
                    worksheet.

                      1.  Right-click on the Sheet tab to be deleted.
                      2.  Click on the Delete option from the ‘Shortcut’
                           menu that will appear.
