Opening an Existing
Database Step 2

Follow these steps to open an
existing database.
1. Click on the File tab.

2. Select the Open option
from the drop-down
menu.

the ‘Recent’ list and click on
it. The selected database
will open.

You can also click on the Browse folder. Select database from the Open dialog box
and Click on the Open button. A selected database will be opened.

Create a database using templates and save it.
Steps to be Followed
• Open Access 2016.
• Select the template from the displayed list.
• The selected templates window will open. Specify the fi le name in the File Name box.
• Click on the Create button.
• A database will be created and the table will be displayed in the Form view.
• Click on the File tab .
• Select the Save option from the menu.
