Zooming an Image

Zoom refers to increasing or
decreasing the display size of the
object on the screen.
Step 1
Follow these steps to zoom in and
zoom out the image.

1. Draw an image.

Step 2

2. Click on the Zoom in option of
the ‘View’ tab to increase the
display size.

3. Click on the Zoom out option of the Step 3
‘View’ tab to decrease the display size.

Different File Formats

We can open and save images in Paint in the following fi le formats.

• Bitmap (BMP): The Bitmap fi le is large in size and uncompressed. They are rich in
colour, simple and are of high quality.

• Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG): JPEG is the most popular image fi le
format used on the web. JPEG is considered to be the ideal format for rich colour

photographs.
