Making Changes in an Image

After drawing an image in Paint, we can make desired changes in it. We need to fi rst
select the image to make any changes. Once the image is selected, it can be moved,
copied or deleted. We can also rotate, crop or resize the selected image. Let’s learn how

                    to perform these actions.
                    Selecting an Image

We can select the image or any part of the image by
clicking on the Select tool present in the ‘Image’ group
of the ‘Home’ tab. On clicking this button, a drop-down

menu appears with two types of selection shape tools:
Rectangular selection tool and Free-form selection tool.

                      2. Click on the Select tool and choose the Rectangular selection tool.

                      3. Place the mouse pointer just outside the image to be selected.

                     4. Click and hold the left mouse button to drag around the boundary of the image.
