We learnt about various tools in the previous class to draw and colour shapes. Let’s revise
them quickly.

Paint Tool Use

Line Tool It helps to draw straight lines of diff erent thickness and colours.

Curve Tool It helps to draw curved lines of diff erent thickness and colours.

Oval Tool It helps us to draw ovals and circles.

Rectangle Tool It helps us to draw a rectangles and squares.

Triangle Tool It helps us to draw triangles.

Fill with colour It helps to fi ll colours in a closed fi gure.

We will learn about some more tools of Paint in this chapter.

Drawing Different Shapes

We can draw diff erent shapes using Paint. Follow these steps to draw any desired
shape.

1. Click on any Shape Step 3

tool of the ‘Shapes’
group in the ‘Paint Step 1
window’.

2. Press the left
mouse button and Step 2

drag the mouse on
the ‘Drawing Area’.

Step 3

3. You can change the outline style by clicking on the
Outline option of the ‘Shapes’ group.

4. Click on No outline option if the outline is not required.
