Types of Mouse
There are eight diff erent types of mouse used nowadays.
• A scroll mouse has two buttons and a scroll-wheel in
the middle.

• A roller-ball mouse has a ball which
moves to make the cursor move on the
screen.
• An optical mouse moves the pointer by
using laser light.
• A gaming mouse works like a scroll mouse but is much
faster.
• A touchpad mouse comes usually with a laptop.
• A trackball mouse has a ball like a scroll on top. On moving
the ball, the cursor on the screen moves.
