Let’s Learn to Plant Trees

Visit a nursery and pick a baby plant of your choice. Bring it home and a fi nd suitable area to
plant it. The area should be exposed to sunlight and air. Also, with the help of your parents fi nd

out if the soil is suitable for the plant to grow.
Once you fi nd a perfect place, dig a hole in the soil using a small shovel. The hole should be
wide and deep enough so that the roots fi t in it without being entangled.

Place the roots of the baby plant in the hole, cover the hole with the soil and water it. Do not
forget to water your plant every day in the morning.
