Taking care of eyes

                                                     Our eyes help us to see around and are very sensitive part
                                                     of our body. We must take good care of them.

                                                     •    Splash eyes with clean water to keep them clean.


                                                     •    Do not rub eyes with hands. Usually, splashing water
                                                          washes away any dirt or dust from the eyes.


                                                     •    In case of any redness or itching in eyes, consult a
                                                          doctor for medication.



                    Other healthy habits

                    •   Trim nails every week. Dirt and germs settle easily on nail

                        beds when the nails are long. They may transfer to the mouth,
                        nose and eyes, making us ill.


                    •   Clean nose and ears with clean clothes or tissues.

                    •   Always wear clean socks and shoes. This prevents bad smell
                        or any infection of feet. Shoes should be polished to wipe off

                        dust and to look neat.

                    •   Cover mouth and nose with clean handkerchief while

                        coughing or sneezing. This prevents spread of germs.



                                          Cleanliness of clothes

                                          When we work, play or exercise, we sweat a lot. Our clothes, being

                                          close to our body, absorb the sweat.  Throughout the day, our
                                          clothes also absorb the dirt and dust. After all day long, clothes
                                          start smelling bad and may become favourable for germs to grow.

                                          Therefore, keeping our clothes clean becomes very important to

                                          keep us healthy.

                                          •    Always wear washed and clean clothes.

                                          •    Clothes should be washed with good quality soap or detergent
                                               and water.
