Example 13: How many days are there in 3 weeks?
                                                                              Maths Fun
            Solution: 1 week = 7 days

                            3 weeks = (3 × 7) days = 21 days Which month has 28 days?
                                       1
Example 14: Convert 3 days to hours.
                                       2
            Solution: 1 day = 24 hours
                              1 1 7 12
                            3 days = 3 × 24 hours = × 24 hours = 84 hours
                              2 2 2
Example 15: A family went for a trip to Malaysia. They left on 31 October. They came back
after 4 weeks. How many days did they spend in Malaysia? Calculate the date
                            of their return.

            Solution: 1 week = 7 days 4 weeks = (4 × 7) days = 28 days

Date of leaving = 31 October Days spent = 28 days
                            Date of return = 28 days after 31 October = 28 November
Example 16: Surbhi did a computer course from 15 June to 3 July. What is the duration of
                            the course?

Solution: Number of days of the course in June = 30 – 14 = 16

(Subtract 14 days since 15 June is included in the course)
Number of days of the course in July = 3
                            Duration of the course = 16 days + 3 days = 19 days
