= 12 hours + 12 hours

Look at the given examples.
1. Chinky goes to school at 7 o’clock in the morning.
This can be written as, Chinky goes to school at 7 a.m.
2. Raju had his lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon.
This can be written as, Raju had his lunch at 1:30 p.m.
