Backward Counting 14
Counting backwards is like going down the 13
stairs and counting from the biggest to the 12
smallest.
For example, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 11
10

Ordering
In increasing order, we arrange numbers from smallest to biggest.
In decreasing order, we arrange numbers from biggest to smallest.
For example, 13, 15, 16, 19 are in increasing order
18, 14, 12, 10 are in decreasing order
Quick Tip
Increasing order → small < big < bigger < biggest
Decreasing order → big > small > smaller > smallest
