Remember
• A number just before any number is one less than it.
For example, 12 is before 13 (12 = 13 – 1)
• A number just after any number is one more than it.
For example, 16 is after 15 (16 = 15 + 1)
• A number between two numbers is in their middle.
For example, 19 is between 18 and 20 (18 19 20)
